Owner/Manager.... DEE FISHER
Dee took over managing the Cartridge World Porirua store in April 2005 following the sudden death of her husband Tom Glastonbury, who previously managed the store since it's opening in April 2002. Dee's background is in Administration and Human Resources, having worked in this field in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Although Dee attended the 2-week Cartridge World franchisee training course in Adelaide in 2002, it was definitely a case of 'baptism by fire' when she took over the running of the business last year.
"After working in the corporate world for years and then being a stay-at-home mum for the previous year, I wasn't sure how I would cope with the huge career change - but I absolutely love it," Dee explains. "It's an incredibly challenging environment and the customer contact is definitely a highlight - we have wonderful customers!"
Dee concurs with Tom's belief that refilling is the way the world is going, especially with the simple recipe of financial savings, the 100% guarantee, and recycling plastics - "it has to be a winner for our customers."
Four years later the store has a real presence in Porirua City, with a strong and loyal customer following, and Dee has quickly developed an in-depth knowledge of the latest printer and refilling technology.
In addition to the financial and administrative running of Cartridge World Porirua, Dee's role is to provide backup assistance to the Technical Manager, Dan Foster, as well as provide on-site customer service and support.
Technical Manager.... DAN FOSTER
Dan has worked at Cartridge World Porirua for nearly three years now. He has a strong background within the retail industry. Dan's role in the business is to oversee the entire technical side of the Cartridge World store, refilling inks, remanufacturing laser cartridges, providing printer service and support, as well as stock control and customer service.
Needless to say the days go fairly fast for him! Dan has developed a strong knowledge of the latest printers and technologies, and is always happy to share his knowledge with our customers.
